Cornet solo commissioned by Valentin Lefebvre, assistant principal cornet of the Hauts-de-France Brass Band for his master's recital. The composer combines colours from Olivier Messiaen's music (especially the third mode) with rock rhythms to create a fun and unique concertino for cornet.
