Description

Curtain Call is a pastiche work, written in the style of Hollywood film music. This 4 minute work was designed as a "finisher" or an encore to a concert program. It was written for Sellers Youth Band to be performed as part of their National Youth Brass Band Championship 2008 program.
Curtain Call is een persiflage geschreven in de stijl van de filmmuziek uit Hollywood.  Dit korte werk van vier minuten is ideaal als sluitstuk of als opener van een concertprogramma.  Peter Meechan schreef het werk voor de Sellers Youth Band die het speelden als onderdeel van hun programma op de National Youth Brass Band Kampioenschappen in 2008.
