Description

Shetland, also called the Shetland Islands, is an archipelago that lies northeast of Scotland and forms part of modern Scotland.
Shetland has a rich inheritance of traditional fiddle music which is characterised by the simultaneous playing of two strings, which gives additional resonance and volume and unusual bowings.
