Windy City Heartbreak was composed during Tom Davoren’s visit to the Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic 2012, in Chicago, Illinois. Though he fell in love with the city immediately a personal cloud hung over the trip, equally lacing the music with optimism and heartbreak.
